XIDEA is an album that came to life from fragments – unfinished sketches, notes, and voice recordings that patiently waited for their moment. The title itself represents the space between inspiration and clarity: 'X' stands for the unknown and that quiet pause before a sound, while 'idea' hints at the very beginning of a feeling. Karolis's unique compositional style really shines through in this album, blending modern jazz with influences from other genres – think atmospheric film scores mixed with rock energy. You'll find both clear melodic lines and expressive solos throughout the compositions. XIDEA is a personal and open musical story where those fragmented ideas transform into vibrant, cohesive, and emotionally powerful music. When performed live, this music truly becomes a dynamic, ever-changing musical conversation.
